I know the question has been asked before, but I had a dual topic in mind. #1. Does anyone know Ron Crawfords current email address? I tried two of them and Hotmail sent a "Cannot be delivered" notice. He has the largest majority of the ones I was wanting. #2. Who else has 1/200 scale? Scotia-Grendel has some, but not the 3 big ones I wanted (F4U corsair, P-38, Vindicator). Any help would be appreciated :D P.S. These miniatures are for the Crimson Skies boardgame. Before anyone comments (Sorry ;) ) 1/285's are too small, and 1/300 scale only works if they are large bomber-type aircraft. Thanks again!!! |

The Dyna-flite diecast P-38 is 1/165. The Academy Sky Giants B-17F kit is 1/200. The Maisto/Motorworks diecast B-17G is 1/225. The Maisto/Motorworks diecast B-24D is 1/230. The old Bachman Miniplanes prepainted B-25J is 1/185. The Corgi B-17F, B-24D and Lancaster diecasts are all about 1/260. Write me off-list if you want to aquire some of these. I'm zippy-at-fuse-dot-net. |

Cap Aero has a very full 1/1200 range. I know Last Square carries them but I detest their webstore page so the link is to Noble, the manufacturer. link |

Ok.. First. Mckinsey. I will say I am new to modeled aircraft ;) 1:1200? Am I mistaken on size of stuff, or are they micro-sized? Wuldn't they be
.Lets say a Corsair(33Feet,9Inch long). Wouldn't that be 1/3 of a inch long? Zippy: Thanks for the options. But after checking, I think they are all a hair too big ;) Monkeyhanger. Skytrex may work out ok. I needed a Beaufighter anyway. And it's 1:200 options are many more :D Don't got F4U's
But I can't find any ANYWHERE nearly the same size so *Shrugs* So..Thus far: Beaufighter=Skytrex. F4U=Basically out. Maybe find a old Ron Crawford. P-38. Probably a 1/285 would work. Would anyone know if 10-12MM would work? I don't know how the scale-size works out in that. Anyway. Thanks for the help folks!! |

12mm equals 1/144th scale, and they do make they F4U and P-38 in that scale. Not sure about the Vindicator. |

There is a link on the LUFT46 web site to HBM Models who seem to make a wide varity of 1/200 scale aircraft. |

Thanks for the place, but I checked and that guys (Ron Crawford)'s email is no longer active. I emailed the Luft46 website owner to see if he has a current contact email. |

Did you try the phone number? I have relatives in VT and all their emails end in sover.net, but that might be because they are all in Southern Vermont. What's the news? E |
