Does anyone know of an one line review of ACW 25mm Artillery?

Nah, I like mine in two lines. :>))

Best guns in my opinion are Sash and Saber.

Several opinions from a few says ago:

I am very pleased with Sash and Saber. Trunnion caps are easy enough to add.

You already saw this thread from March:

I have Foundry – they are pretty good, but I have heard great things about Sash & Saber

Yes Sash and Saber are what I have right now. Sounds like most think these are some of the best out there. I am looking for some odd guns however. Seems no one makes a 12lb How in 25mm. I got 28 guns from the Sash and Saber sale last month, but Chris Hughes does not make 12lb How in 25mm or 40mm. He also does not have 20lb Parrots guns in 40mm either. I have the 6lb guns (1841 mdl) but can find only one battery that had them (Latham's bty of Hood's Division).

Guns I am looking for are:

14lb James
12 lb How
12 lb Parrots
24 lb How
12 lb Whitworth

I have redoubt's and they are nice easy to put together and a veriety of gun sizes and crew. For the counters there is an incorrect number of spokes.

I also do not think anyone makes a 4.5 Rifle gun either.

I was able to purchase a few pairs of (correctly 14 spokes) ACW wheels from Elite to replace my Redoubt gun wheels.

Unfortunately I was charged about 2/3 the price of a full gun kit by Elite. Bought them along with a larger order and didn't notice the actual price until later<?g?>.

Sash & Saber – very good artillery.

Check out RAFM (link below). They have a 12lb Howitzer and Whitworth

The next link is for fine scale factory pieces. These are from a German manufacturer for 1/72 scale, but in my opinion these are too large for i/72 and fit more to a 25mm scale. These guys do seige guns that may have what you are after. The link is to Brookhurst Hobbies who are supposed to stock them in the US. link
