"Valor & Steel & Flesh"

Interesting title. Sounds like a paperback romance novel.

I am getting much closer to getting the group going. I have been painting on Parroom models like mad but have been slightly derailed by the final stage of my brand spanking new Man Cave Gaming Room and Pub. After attending Spring Fever in Raleigh this weekend I will get on the stick and establish the group!

Oh, and PK-- Valor, Steel, and Flesh is a terrific game put out by Parroom Station based on the Brother Against Brother rules (with LOTS of changes). The setting is just after the Martians attacked a la War of the Worlds. The Colonial Terrans have beaten both invasions and have used the Martian technology to reach the Red Planet. There they find not only the Cephalids and their tripods but the Red, Yellow, Black, and gigantic four-armed Green Martians of the John Carter universe. Unsurprisingly war breaks out and the game takes over…

It's a great system with a well thought out and tightly written background.

Good news. Many thanks for letting us know.

I picked up a copy of these rules at Little Wars a year ago. They are really inspirational, and could be used for many different colonial actions.

Good – glad you enjoy the game and the rules. No problem here with that.

I just chuckle at the title…
