Funcken is the extent of my Marine knowledge, too. AWI sergeants had a sash in red with a stripe in the facing color. Give him a halberd? |

Someone mentioned aguilettes (sp) a few years ago but can't find anything further on it. All the figures (old glory) are musket armed except the officer. Might just build up a sash on one ? |

Where are you getting the figures? They have a distinctive mitre hat and I wasn't aware that anyone made such a figure. |

Fritz. Foundry has a marine figure or two in their Marlburian range. I think it's called "Marine/Fusilier". Old Glory makes a bag for the Pirate range. I have two bags of them. Black Cat Bases makes nice taller Marines also. Closer to the current 32mm standard for recent Pirate figures. All have the mitre cap worn in the "Admiral Byng Drops his Hankie" painting. |

The figures are Old Glory, I believe ? There was an officer and 15 marines in the pack. The headgear is a cap with the false mitre front. Paul |
