Hi Friends,

I've a project for Grunwald 1410 in 28mm, so have you any idea about compatibility Front Rank HYW and Kingmaker Hussite?

Thanks for help!

Panshir:

I too have the same project so will look forward to resulting discussion on this. KM are very expensive to order from California so have yet to obain any samples unfortunately.

I am also using Testudo, does anyone have further information on the status of most recent hiatus with their production?

FWIW, BTD also can fit in (as individual units) with the others I have noted.

Panshir, et al:

I found a fairly extensive review of Kingmaker figures at:

The reviewer unfortunately not does address direct comparison of different manufacturers, but there are some useful comments and nice photos.

One thing evident from the photos is that the KM definitely seem more realistically proportioned (i.e. "longer" in body and slightly thinner) than Front Rank.

That said they are very fine looking figures and, _if_ the height comparison proves satisfactory I would be happy to use the KM with FR & Testudo myself, albeit very likely not mixing manufacturers within units.

I have the same project in mind but plan to use Perry together with some Old Glory and Front Rank. A challenge I still have to solve is how to find suitable Tartars…

Kingmaker seem to be intermediate in proportions between Perry and Front Rank, so are 'OK' with either.

Hi Michael,
there are many people interested in this project…good!!!

I've no good news about TESTUDO figs. It's interrupted the production for the moment. I don't know why but is a terrible news because for Polish and Teutonic are useful other figs from Front Rank.Kingmaker ecc. but for Russian Smolensk and Tartars for this period it's very difficult to find figs.

If you have news about post on this board.

Regards from Italy!

I'm not very conversant with this period but you might check out Molniya Figures as they seem to have quite a number of late medieval eastern European figures.
