I'm going to paint George Washington and Benedict Arnold (from the Saratoga campaign)((Ben, not George!)) Any advice for painting them? Did they have a favorite horse whose color is known? Any distinguishing features of their uniforms? I know about the sashes and blue and buff already. This will be in a pretty small scale, so no extreme minutia. Thanks, Dugal |

GW rode several horses during the war but his favourites were Nelson, a chestnut, and Blueskin, a white (sometimes described as a "blue-grey"). |

Benedict Arnold had a bay horse IIRC during part of the campaign. |

Oh, that "George W" I thought you were asking about what color suit to paint on a small Bush figure. I actually have some 30mm plastic presidents that were produced by Marx in the 60s. Naturally, they only go up to Kennedy. I have yet to paint them, but they look smart in their little suits! |
