Which book was it, jawjatek?

I bought it, and read it, last weekend. $5.98 USD on the B&N "Bargain Table", less the 10% Member's Discount…

It was a quick read, the price was right, the writing was okay, some literary license taken. Having previously read a few books on Nathan Bedford, it seems like he was kept in character, which was good.

I wouldn't pay the list of $25. USD though.

I agree with freds comments, however I wouldn't buy it, borrow from the library. Its not something you would reread a second time.

I picked it up last night at B&N from the bargain bin, like Fredjg did, for $5.98. It's cheaper that some of the paperbacks I've bought, and I've spent more on things that turned out to be a waste. I just wanted to test the water and see if the rest of you enjoyed it or it was a real groaner.

Like you and fredjg I picked it up for $5.98 USD HB at B&N.
The price was right and it was better then most of Turttledoves other books (IMO).
