Hi folks!

Release 2 of Golgo Island will be available soon at East Riding Miniatures. Couldn't resist sharing a sneak peek of Battleship Commander Kirk "Danger" Hasslehöffner, who will star this summer's campaign at the Golgo Banana Showdown :)

Original head and gun are by Hasslefree.

Kirk will come in a pack of Super-?-heroes, at the usual price of 4 figs for £5.00 GBP
I hope you like him :)

Cheers,

Sylvain

Isn't he a bit short to be a space hero? ;-p

Miles Vorkosigan was a tiny guy and he was a space hero.

It's the Hasslehoffner name that made me think he was a bit short….

Why does it look like (to me anyway) he's wearing red long underwear? Still, a nice retro mini.

Because he's wearing red long underwear.
They called it a space suit :D

I'm really digging this line so far, but if this guy isn't supposed to be a dwarf then his head looks a little on the large side (or his body looks a little on the smaller side.) Nonetheless, thanks for the preview and looking forward to seeing the Golgo Island line expand (I'm a ShockForce player from way back, my favorite set of miniature rules ever.)

Yes, he is very short indeed. I haven't measured him, but he must stand a head smaller than most figures in the range, which are 28mm. The head is that scale.
As Aliensurfer said, the character's an obvious wink to Kevin White at Hasslefree, who kindly offer all kinds of free of rights bits and bobs that have been used by us, as well as Hydra and Shadowforge – and probably others.

Thanks for the interest and kind words, Diehard – I feel very lucky to be allowed to use the WarEngine for Golgo Island as it's my favourite ruleset ever too.
Tony at ERM should have everything ready for the release next week – 12 brand new character figures, some of which were done in direct (or indirect) response to requests I had for the range, or read on these boards. I'm pretty excited about it – I might post another preview by then :p
