Just a quickie
25/28mm not really my area of expertise (as if anything else is !!) so can I ask for some gentle guidance. I have some Foundry Wild West figures from about 10 years ago. I'd like to expand on them with more Foundry stuff plus figures from other manufacturers – particularly Old Glory, Dixon and Artizan. I did see some pics which indicated that "new" Foundry stuff might be bigger than old (how old is "old" – ie, is my 10 year old Foundry stuff not suitable?). In short, can I mix ‘n' match from different makers? Is there any one manufacturer whose figures will look really out of place when used on the same table? Anyone else who produces good figures I should consider apart from those I have listed above – I am in the UK. Thanks muchly, Mike |

I've used the "old" Foundry stuff on the same table with Artizan and Old Glory without it looking too out of scale to me. The Black Scorpion and Blue Moon stuff looks to be larger than Foundry & Old Glory. |

I think, given the height difference of various people, that the foundry stuff is fine with newer foundry stuff and other stuff. I mix and match Old glory, new Foundry, old foundry, artizan and a few others and it all works great together. |

As long as you are *above* the play table the few millimeters won't be a problem. You'll definitely get the "Circus Freak" effect in diorama pictures and the display case, though

Thanks for the tips – put my mind at rest. The link was one of the factors that prompted the question as the old Foundry looked a bit shorter so wondered if this would be an issue. Hopefully not. mike |
