Just to let those in the neighbourhood know that the local show organised by Deeside Defenders will be held at the Airbus Sports and Social Club in Broughton, near Chester on 5th & 6th July 2008.

There will be a WRG 6th edition competition over the two days, but other events are still being arranged.

There will also be an SOTCW participation game – Battle in the Tuzkhur Valley.

There will also be a round of the SOA doubles at Gauntlet. The doubles includes DBM, FoG and DBMM. It is also intended that a late war FoW singles tournament will be run alongside the doubles.

I am really looking forward to this. A whole weekend away at a wargames show.

Any SOTCW members visiting please pop over and introduce yourselves – it will be nice to meet some of you "in the flesh".
