Hi, I'm wondering if there are any other companies who have produced models for Traveller other than Grenadier.

I'm specifically looking for guys in Battle Dress/Combat Armor along that style, with the Sallet styled helmets & gauss rifles.

Anybody?

Try Mega Miniatures.

If you want to go 25mm instead of 15mm, look at Denizen's "Federation" miniatures, specifically the SF30-39 figures.

Sorry, forgot to mention I'm looking for 25-28mm.

Thanks,

Faust

In 25mm, look at GZG's UNSC Marines. The armor and helmets are very close to the look of Traveller's Imperial Marines. My rank and file troops are Traveller Marines; my leader units are GZG UNSC. But going in the other direction works perfectly fine too.

I should mention also that I have the Denizen figures that Wyatt mentioned. They're very good, but I don't include them in my Traveller Marine company because of the helmets. The GZG helmets are a much better match. And the GZG, Traveller, and Denizen figures are all 25mm and so fit together very well.

GZG 25mm guys are superb stand ins for Traveller human types. I also recommend the Denizen miniatures. The sculpting is really good on both lines.

I have some of the old Grenadier "Imperial Marines" from their Traveller line, and GZG UNSC troopers. Here's a link to my old defunct web site that has images of the Grenadier Marines and GZG troopers (I paint better now!)

I think they work together quite well.

Those Denizen miniatures are quite nice! Might have to get some. I am pretty sure that one of them is even pictured in the Stargrunt II rulebook (Denizen code SF30, on page 38 in front of the tank, if anyone cares…)

Just people, or starships as well?

The Spacelords line Battleclones make great Zhodani troops, they are now available from em-4.

Reaper's new Chronoscope line has a couple that might work. Look at the bottom of this page:

Thanks for the info gang. GZG looks pretty close. Not up for starships at this juncture.

I'm looking for non-GW fully armored troops. Traveller battle dress marines came to mind first.

Pig Iron has figs that aren't fully covered. Rezolution CSO figs have what appears to be full coverage. Any other ideas?

Assuming that you are very scale specific, and the 25mm figs of GHQ Stargrunt, Denizen miniatures, and original Grenadier Imperial Marines are also too small for your needs, Starship troopers MI are most likely too large, there about 32mm, as with the Halo Spartan suits are also too large, at about the same scale. If shrinking and enlarging miniatures are beyond your skill, I would suggest you use the heads from the GHQ United Nations space command, the helmets are shaped like Traveller power armor, but there a little big for the 25mm fig. Then get some plastic Star Wars storm troopers, From the CMG, there not that expensive on eBay, and there about 28mm but realistic in there torso, some people complain there too skinny. Swap heads and guns and you have a pretty good Traveller Imperial Marine.

Also there are Infinity models that are a little cartoonish for me, but you could do a head swap on some of them, but there a little too dramatic in there style, and the figures I really like are right know just one offs right know.

Also, I'm a big Traveller Miniatures fan, which has had me collecting and modding and number of lines for years. Currently I'm expecting a shipment of Heresy sci-fi figs and I hope to do a scale comparison with Traveller miniatures in mind.

RAFM made some Traveller New Era minis – including Warbots that go nicely with the Denizen VENTAURAN SPACE TROOPS as Zhodani proxies.

RAFM made some very nice stuff in the late 90's including a great Hiver fig and some very nice marines. You can still find them on Ebay periodically.

I'll second Chronoscope from Reaper. Just the thing.
