Like the title says, I am looking for examples of painted BFSP goblins that were not done in the standard night goblin scheme. Thanks! |

Back in the day, mixing in red or yellow or blue (though not generally all three at once) wasn't uncommon for Night Gobs. |

I have seen a few painted with brown robes and someone who had done a few goblins with the robes having moons and stars on them like the kids halloween wizard costumes. Sorry no pics on hand of either. |

Why not do white KKK outfits? Or red cultish goblins. What is BFSP? |

BFSP= Battle for Skull Pass I like the idea of red cultish goblins |

Battle for skull pass. It was the recent dwarf & goblin set. |

Take a look at the original AD&D Monster Manual's Goblin entry. Gygax gave different color schemes for Goblins fur/skin. I've never been thrilled with the green skin thing (Gygax used different, non-green, colors for Orcs, as well). I painted my Goblins with a brick red skin, and they look decent, IMO. YMMV. Cheers! |

I was refering to robes, not skin. GW greenskins can look good in a surprising variety of other skin tones. |

I use a dark skintone like a Drow for my goblins with red and khaki robes. |

An older White Dwarf had an army painted Smurf style, blue with white clothes. SMc. |

Da Warpath Orc & Goblin forum. Check the "Army Blogs" and the "Painting and Hobby" sections. A little bit of poking around should give you just the sort of examples you're looking for. link |
