link I just noticed on the Battle Honors site today they have packs of 25mm Vietnam figures listed. Is this a new range, is anyone familiar with these? Thanks. |

Thet are the same moulds as Baker Co, I think that they were BH to begin with, then sold on. |

I have some. They are good not great but good I would give them 5 out of ten. You should look up Baker company they have in my opinion a better line along with West Wind. I also think that all of them go well together so what I did was pick and choose what I wanted. The London War room has a Nam range as well and they are Ok too. I might part with all of mine if your interested. |

I've got a few of the BH Viet Nam figures. Worth more than 5/10 any day – though the VC are a bit reminiscent of the ESCI 20mm set in their posing and style. SFAIK the BH range was done by the same sculptor as Baker Company's. |

They are true 25mm figures compared to Baker Company, West Wind, and TAG 28mm. The Battle Honors figures are much smaller, however they do fit well with London War Room figures and make all the support weapons that are missing from the LWR line. The AK-47's with BH are way to small to match any of the other three (BC,WW,TAG). The VC pack looks more like tall 20mm than 25mm. They were distributed by the same company when Baker Company first came out, but I did not know they were by the same sculptor (thanks Phil). The later Baker Company figures (ARVN) do not hold up to the same standard as the early ones. Vince |

The pack layout looks like the ones I did for BH before Baker Company came out. They were my very first sculpts, so they're a bit rough, but the gear and over all look is very accurate for pre-70(towels on necks, socks on helmets, etc). The figures measure (on average)25mm to the eye. |

I like them
and the issue with the weapons is that the BH AK-47s, M-16s etc are scaled closer to real life, so look small in comparison to many lines. The US Army are without flak vests, the USMC have flak vests, I like to mix the models together. Anyway, I put some painted PAVN (NVA) from BH on the cover of our Vietnam supplement, Long Road South. Might give you some idea of what these look like
without the muzzle flashes of course, and you might paint better than me :) link Just scroll down a little. Chalfant |
