Amazing what you find in the attic – we were just clearing it out for the first time in about 15 years, and I came across an old Space Marine box. Not sure which edition it is, but the rulebook is dated 1991. I was half hoping I'd stumble across BloodBowl too, but I guess that's long gone unfortunately.

Also discovered my Sega 32X, but since I don't have a working megadrive anymore, there's no way to test it (otherwise it'd be going straight onto eBay).

Sounds like 2nd edition from the date. That's the version that NetEpic is based on. Good find! grin

Ahh, thanks! Once I've re-read the rules, I'll have to try and organise a game …

What's the cover art on it? Dark Angels was 1st edition, Ultramarines was 2nd ( picture ).

Man, now I wish I hadn't sold the one I won in the contest waaaaay back in the day when it first came out!

*sighs*

Yep, it's the Ultramarines cover.

It always pays to hoard stuff, MahanMan ;)

Is it all in there? IIRC, you got some SPace Marines with Rhinos and Land Raiders, some Orks with battlewagons and Eldar with Falcon grav-tanks, plus a 'beetle' Warlord titan

I had a proper look through last night, and it seems like everything's in there – buildings, counters, dice, Orks, Space Marines and Eldar. Even somewhat inexplicably the ball scatter templates from BloodBowl (still hoping it's up there somewhere). No Titan though, just the head and a few weapons unfortunately.
