If you've read the PLANET HULK series, (before the World War Hulk series)
especially the GRAPHIC novel
the Tayo star system is PERFECT for an 'alternate' pulp campaign to 'Barsoom' or 'Dead Earth' or 'Mongo' or a half dozen other pulp locations. OR you can use the descriptions of the system for any of the above! By the way, I loved the series, characters, lifeforms, technology
etc
but I thought
WOW, here's a perfect setting for a PULP/VSF? scifi campaign with all the ingredients without haveing to 're-invent' the wheel
(or airship!)
Just thought I'd suggest any pulpers 'check out' the info at the back of the graphic novel
as it provides a lot of good 'character/background info' that you should find useful!!! *slish

I think I'll sneak in a recommendation for the city of Kandor from Last Days of Krypton. It apparently has a number of pyramids (both four sided and stepped) and has races where hover chariots are pulled by giant lizards. |

There are giant lizards in PH
.and old Greenie even wears the roman helmet with scrub-brush on top! Zounds
could it be? Ben-Hulk!!! *slish! in the lizard-pulled hover chariot? |

That would be amusing. There's even a Hulk in scrub-brush helmet from the Monsters & Mutations set of heroclix, though I have no idea what the single goes for these days, or how it would scale relative to other figures. |

"Planet Hulk" – sounds like a Marvel special series

Planet Hulk was very good, I thought. World War Hulk was okay, but some of the side stories-- ESPECIALLY in the Incredible Hulk #110-- really stunk. |

Marvel's cross overs have really sucked since House of M. Quesada at his finest. Brian |

not every comic, every series, spin-off is always 'spot on'
but the 'Planet Hulk' collection of stories from different comics into ONE 'book' was pretty cool
I prefer to collect 'GN/paperbacks' vs individual issues most of the time
because I don't want to have to pick up so many different TITLES just to follow ONE story
But for gaming FODDER
Planet Hulk 'rocks' and the Green Scar figure AIN'T cheap (from the Monsters and Mutations boxed series of clix)
but it is FUN
(you can also get the Heroscape HULK seperately
on ebay and 'modify' him too and he looks pretty decent!) What fun! *slish |

Yeah, I was looking at them the other day and saw he was still going for around $9 USD minimum. I also checked the Silver Savage figure, which I really want, but even the regular Silver Surfer clix are still going for more than I want to pay for one. |
