Or even anyone who owns one…

I'm working on a game using jet-skis, and using Waterworld (dont laugh too hard heh heh) as a source… I believe I saw a throttle on the left handle in the beginning, later on there are guys shooting pistols with the left hand while driving with the right hand.

So, can jetskis have the throttle on either side?

The ones I have been on had the throttle on the right side.

you need to be able to fire small arms left handed if you're going to shoot while driving.

Its one of two things one is a normal throttle with a throttle lock which lets you use your right hand. Or if your race and know your turns will be to the right you then move the throttle over so the hand on the gas isn't caught between machine and water in the tighter turns. Most people use a throttle lock but its not hard to move the the throttle over to the left side.As a side note motorcycle racers do the same with the foot shifter by reversing the order so when in a turn and needing to upshift they press down not up . That way their foot isnt stuck under the shifter in a tight turn where they could crash and get the foot stuck in the shifer
