Anyone tried to pull the peg that holds the Wings of War prepaints onto their stands out of the plane? Or cut them off? I want to use the magnets sold by Dom's Decals to attach the planes to some Litko stands and I'm wondering how easy it is to remove the peg from the models. |

Most of them are easy to snip off since they are molded plastic. The planes with rounded fuselages (like the Albatros) are pewter however so you'll need to Dremel those off -- carefully! I used Z-poxy to secure the magnets on my planes and they work great. |

I STILL wish they'd made the WoW planes with holes rather than pegs. It would look better, and easier to attach magnets. |

Derek, The Albatros were too hard to cut off so I just glued on longer cylinder magnets. |

Dervil same idea as ones we did for 1/72 planes although we used clear acrylic bases so the terrain cloth underneath showed through. |
