Does anyone make figures suitable for a Royal Navy landing party? French Revolution or Napoleonic, at least 15mm? |

If the Perries ever did one in 40mm I'd buy it- as much as they want to avoid the 'not-Sharpe' route you'd think they'd throw us a 'not-Hornblower' bone

If/when you do get one, vincent, be sure to mount it on a base. The fate of that on in the picture is not pretty after taking it to a couple of shows! 8>) It's was a real blast to paint and assemble. WHile not the greatest paintjob, I was happy the way it turned out. There are a lot of pieces in the kit. It will add some drama to your games as you attempt to make a landing on a hostile shore

Do landing parties come equipped with bottles of happy juice? |
Dye4minis | 12 May 2008 12:34 p.m. PST |
No, they have to supply their own favorite brand! Although
.you could stow on the longboat,in a crate or treasue chest, and say "these do!" *>} Best, Tom Dye GFI |

Berlichtingen, Have a look at the Eureka Royal Navy Longboat. They have crew rowing with cannon, Royal Marine Landing Party, seated Marines, seated Brit Infantry. You can see pics on Eureka Miniatures, Australia site at eurekamin.com.au. If you are in the States you can order from eurekaminusa.com. Cheers, Rob Eureka Miniatures USA |

I have always thought the Britannia (28mm) stuff looks appealing. Definitely something I have on my "to do" list: link |

The Britannia stuff looks like what I'm looking for. I pre-ordered Sharp Response and I'm thinking of using them for shore fortification raids. The AB figures also look good (it looks like the Marine landing party contains Navy personnel.) Thanks |

Whoops, after further looking, it looks like Minifigs might be the way to go. Tom, were are the Vendee hidden on the site? |
