An un-scientific look at mixing scales for 28mm Middle Eastern Miniatures.

I do not have any 'proper' vehicles, they are all diecast, well except the Battlefield Evolution.

I was taking a look at using some Battlefield Evolution figs and snapped some pictures. The vehicles range from 1/64 to 1/48. But of course some are really 'fit to box'.

When looking at the figs, keep in mind that the figure bases are not the same. But you will notice the BF Evo figs are slimmer.

If anyone knows the manufacture of the Taliban figs, please let me know.

The Taleban figures are from Mongrel Miniatures, the sniper is from the Lebanon Arab Militia range, also by Mongrel Miniatures

Thanks! Also, now know who made my Russian figs.

Good Pictures. Also have most of these. I have opted not to get the Corgi Tactical Stike Bradley because I think it looks a little bit too small with 28s. Ditto on the M113. I recently picked up a 1/50th M113 from Corgi for my troops. To go with the little bird, I bought the New Ray 1/55th Apache and and the 1/60th Blackhawks helos. Still need a 1/56th Abrams and Bradley to finish the force. I think the BEVO and Mongrel minis go together sufficiently well and match the vehicles suitably.

I wonder, does anyone make any drop in turrets or crew-served weapons that will work on the New Millenium HMMWVs?

Yeah I forgot about the New Ray Apache. I just posted some pics with it.

It would be great to get drop in turrets or crew-served weapons for the New Millenium HMMWVs

Britannia do some 50 cal and grenade launcher 1/2 figures which should fit the diecast vehicles, quite large so should look OK

azzarc?I cant see any Russians

Yeah I did not take any pictures of the Russians. I probably would have if I had a Russian vehicle.
