Huh. Look at that. Just like that…it's out now. I stopped at my friendly local hobby store today for unrelated reasons and decided to browse the 1/72 plastics. My wild hare paid off, as I spotted two boxes of brand new Pegasus goodness!

I bought them both, of course. The guy at the counter said, "Oh man! I just got these in! Guess I'll have to order more."

Once I got home, an internet search didn't turn up any evidence that this kit is now out. I love Pegasus, but they sure don't market their product very well… Hopefully when the long-awaited Russians in Berlin set comes out I'll similarly luck into finding a box on the shelf.

In the meantime, anyone interested in this set should mosey on down to their FLHS and see if they can't get them to order a box--if there isn't one or two on the shelf already!

(And yes, the figures are fantastic, well up to Pegasus's standards. Hooray for new plastics!)

Pegasus is great. Don't have their Russian naval chaps yet, but do have manny of their german sets. Realisitic poses, and loads of conversion options due to their lose and axtra arms and weapons.

Cheers,

Christiaan

I agree. I think Pegasus are just about the best out there.

PSR had a mention of the release of this kit a few days back. I am eagerly waiting to see them running a full review of it.

I noticed Michigan Toy Soldier has them up on their website

I have admit I was more interested in the 1/72 KV-1s and SU-152 (2 kits per box for $US 11.99).

I have other Pegasus sets and they are fantastic. These Naval infantry will be a very nice addition to my collection.

I plan on buying several, i've been waiting so long. What paint should i purchase to go with them? I'd have to get it at either HobbyTown USA or Hobbylobby.
