Kroot kroot kroot kroot! I'm following the idea of someone on here and making mine Parrotmen of Mars (or whatever) for Fantastic Worlds pulp sci-fi games. I'm thinking of buying some Forge World knarlocs (regular and great) because they're just such nice models. Of course I'll have to take out a second mortgage… Chris |

Parrotmen of Venus dear boy, Venus! Glad to have you aboard! The more Parrotmen forces out there the better! After many years of encouraging others to use them my army is finally nearing completion. As for price *shudder* I now have 8 assorted Great Knarlocs and 21 of the Knarloc riders. One is being converted into a character fig as I type (well it would be if I wasn't typing). |

I've been doing them to do double duty as a 40k Kroot army too. Extensively converted, the only figures that are standard are some of the Great Knarlocs and the Kroot Hounds. As for the cost, I built them up over time and am only now actually completing them. The rather a long time they spent languishing in boxes was something of a sore point with the wife I have to admit. This week will see some mammoth painting sessions to get everything painted by my deadline. |
