Hey, we here at Racingspider Games have decided to begin the stages of releasing an interface for people to write their own combat resolution modules for Campaigner.
With the addition of indicators and attributes as well as "replay effects", you'll be able to extend the basic campaign functionality to do what you want.
We're making an additional combat engine as a sample that will be released with Campaigner. You will need to know a .NET language to program it, but most of the work is done, and all you'd need to do is write your own turn resolution bit.
Interested parties can visit racingspidergames.com or post in here. Its not out yet and more info will be coming soon.
