I'm looking for an alternative miniature for these guys:

Basically I find the size of their halberds to be ridiculous, their armour looking too much like American football uniforms and don't like the idea of a single infantry miniature coming in like 5 parts.

Anyone have a suggestion? Who makes large 28mm guys in armour with long spears, halberds, pole axes or the like? No shields though.

Reaper? They have some figs in the Warlord line that ought to work, and there are some "town guard" or "city militia" types that might work as well.

War of the Roses period perhaps? Check Mirliton and Front Rank.

What about the Cygnar City guard from the IK line?

GW used to make a box of 30 single-piece ones. For that matter, the ones from Battlemasters might work. I can't remember if they had shield or not . . .
