Those look really good, but I especially like the aircraft. I have some 6mm WWII stuff myself, and have been considering getting an airbrush to paint camouflage. |

KNock me down dead gorgeous work. Are those GHQ decals on the Shermans? What about the T-34s? GHQ really do beautiful models, don't they? And I quite like the work you did on the Scotia aricraft. -- Tim |

Thanks Tim :) No, the decals are I-94 Enterprise decals on all models. The Russian turret numbers are one of their newer decal sets. Absolutely agree with you, GHQ models are the best! take care, IntoBattle |

In what proportion do you mix your wash and what consistency? Those miniatures are very nice. Mike |

Podette, glad the tutorials are of use :) Mike, it's hard to define proportions on the washes because I use 502 abteilung oil which come in a tube. I usually mix in a little brown then finish it off with black (mix with turpentine). I apply a bit on the model and if it doesn't seem dark enough then I add more black and apply it again. The good thing about oil based washes is that it "spiders" extremely well so I don't usually wash over the whole model – just touch lightly the areas I want shadows. Hope that helps, let me know if you have any other questions. Tanner |
