Has been about six months since a new release, and the 'upcoming' page has had only that stuuuupid-looking robot on it for the same period. Anybody know if Bob Murch is ok? Hope so – - – Chick |

I think so. I talked to him perhaps three weeks ago. I don't remember if he mentioned new releases. |

Bob is going to be carting his wares to Enfilade over Memorial Day weekend. He's always happy to chat about what he's up to. You should come on out. |

I'm prepping masters for the next release right now. You can expect the Promethean Death Ray, the Killer Robot, some Mad Science Lab Equipment, PGJ-9 Newshounds & PGJ 14 Upper Crust Personalities. Melanesian Islanders are also being prepped but will more likely be the Historicon Release. I won't be attending Historicon this year due to the ever increasing border obstructions and rising transportation costs (as well as a desire to go on holiday this July). Instead, Pulp Figures will be represented by Bob and Ann Bowling at RLBPS. Right now I'm casting and packing the stock for Historicon. The new release won't go forward until I've got that front under control. Bob pulpfigures.com |

Bob: Good to hear from you. You almost single-handily created pulp miniatures gaming, so we get the shakes when we don't hear from you in a while. Check out the game we ran in the earlier post, "The Case of the Internecine Interception". Chip Coffey |

"I won't be attending Historicon this year due to the ever increasing border obstructions and rising transportation costs (as well as a desire to go on holiday this July)." Awww – that kinda bums me out a bit, your presence is a major high point for Historicon for me, but it is understandable.
You'll definately be missed – I hope you have a safe and fun holiday :) |

My Fellow Gamers: Upon our last encounter, I noticed that my dear friend, Murch, seemed a bit fatigued and overly stressed. In the interest of helping him and, by extension, all mankind since the peace-loving peoples of the world need quality pulp figures now more than ever thanks to the tension imposed upon them by the rapacious and intolerable demands of the warmongering madmen Roosevelt and Churchill, some trusted dacoits of mine and I decided to stage an intervention. We therefore, at great personal expense, transferred dear Murch to The Greater East Asian Coprosperity Spa and Spiritual Reinvigoration Center, where I was able through hands-on attention to ease some of the burdens that had been troubling the esteemed artist and humanitarian. Yes, through a judicious combination of diet, exercise, electrical shock attitude adjustments (or "tinglies," as we like to call them in the trade), and highly targeted surgery to remove certain burdensome and completely unneccesary portions of the brain related to the distractions of free will and personality, I was able to effect a complete turnaround. To the untrained eye, his vacant expression, corpselike pallor, and somnolent shambling may seem disconcerting. But to the practiced eye of the clinician, I see a man who is totally at peace with the world, who has completely surrendered himself to unquestioning obedience to his loving master--benefits I will soon provide to all of the world as soon as I can synthesize the proper ingredients, reduce them to a highly concentrated vapor, and finish deploying a fleet of suitable delivery vehicles. From shattered husk of a man, depressed that he was letting his friends and fans down by selfishly being unable to sculpt at least 24 hours a day without eating or sleeping, I present to you the completely reborn Bob Murch. "Sculpt on, my friend. Sculpt on." Sincerely, Dr. Katana |

Nice one, Mulligan – - – How did you manage maintain the creative and artistic circuits while excising free will and personality? There may be a nobel prize for surgery in your future. |

Chick is just too fast a painter. I am still catching up on the German Light troops, the last couple of gangland packs, and the Kojars. Not counting 1-2 packs of all the Marines that I have been sorting out to send to Fernando. Oh, yes germans in gas masks are still in blisters. |

Cannot wait for the new releases. Already have a fair number of Mr. Murch's figures. |
