Does anyone have any? would it be possable to convert them to some ancient snake worshiping people armed with polearms?

jpattern207 May 2008 5:40 p.m. PST

None that I'm aware of, and nothing similar, either. None of the snakemen and lizardmen minis out there look human enough.

artslave07 May 2008 6:58 p.m. PST

Yes, or I should say they were available from Shieldwall. They come with a variety of weapons and 3 different poses, but they are not merchandised as SG figures. They are Gorgon Warriors, don't ya' know! You will have to inquire as to current status. I have a bunch of them and I like them

Or try the official ones from Phoenix.

The Phoenix ones are a bit on the thin side and don't mix very well with any other lines. Which is really unfortunate and the reason that I haven't bought any.

Well, looky there, *two* different lines.

It's a golden age for minis.

Dervel Fezian08 May 2008 10:08 a.m. PST

I have seen both, the Phoenix ones are not really usable wiht any other figures. They are very undersized.

It is a shame too, nice figures, but more like 20mm.

paulkit08 May 2008 12:53 p.m. PST

GZG do some `not stargate' figures too in their 15mm range.

The Gray Ghost09 May 2008 4:23 a.m. PST

I have 9 of the Eureka ones, I wish they still made them.
I'm not going to clip the energy staff weapon off though I'll just consider it some wierd polearm.

Gray Ghost,

Just FYI. Here are a few comparison shots of the Phoenix Icon ones:

My plan was to use them with my EM-4/Copplestone figures but, as you can see, that will not work:

The Phoenix Icons ones would work as teenagers, like Tael'c's son. Any they were fully trained for battle from a young age.

"The Phoenix Icons ones would work as teenagers, like Tael'c's son."

LOL.
