Highlight with GW Burnished Gold. Fresh bronze is often more of a gold colour than we re used to thinking. |

Paint the item with GW Tin Bitz. Then, drybrush with your favorite bright bronze. I like "Goldem" brand Irridiscent Brass. |

Depends what scale, if its 6-15mm, I use bronze highlighted with gold, if its 28mm, I paint it dark brown and just use mettalics ( bronze then copper or gold on the edges and raised areas. Tin bits is a nice base if you go for the all mettalic approach. If its seriously old, or on a bronze statue, a green inkwash over tinbitz gets a nice effect. Phil |

I suggest: Shade coat – Citadel TinBitz Base coat – Vallejo 998 Bronze Highlights – Vallejo 878 Old Gold Don't use Citadel's Bronze – it's too reddish and brassy. |
