I just got the PDF version of Rich's Thrilling Expeditions: Valley of the Thunder Lizard!

Now I can run my poor victims… er… I mean "players"… in the middle of all those dinosuars I've been collecting for years!

Plus I'm following Rich's post about making Jungle terrain with all those worthless CDs I have!

Pellucidar… Here we come!!!!

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!

Excellent work, Rich. .45 Adventures has been needing a supplement with a ton of various critters in it.

One more thing… whoever has been writing those fictional inserts in the rules has missed their calling… they need to be writing action/adventure books. I'd buy every one!!!

Target has, or had some plastic dinos in their One Spot ($1.00 Section at the front of the store), for $1.00 USD each.

They aren't superb, but are decent looking, and come with real dino sound too. That goes off when you place your hand, or finger over the yellow disk on their bellies (these need to be painted to match the saurs, but for $1.00 USD each, I can't complain about that).

They would probably be compatible with 25mm – 28mm figures.

I already have a bunch of Dinos.

These are great and no where near as pricey and metal miniature ones…

The bits that are not part of the scenarios are written by me for TE. The bits within the scenarios are written by the various authors.

And who knows, you may see a collection of .45 Adventure fiction one day. :-)

I was very impressed as well and shot off to the local market's toy stall to buy up all their packs of cheap dinosaurs. Some will have to be juvenile versions of the really big herbivore types but most will fit with 28mms no problem and at £1.50 GBP a time I'm not arguing.
Can't wait to inflict some dinosaur encounters on some unsuspecting players real soon.
I loved the scenario write-ups as well. The first one you can just picture as a movie (and imagine who to cast it with).

I got the PDF version of Thunder Lizard too, and I'm very impressed – lots and lots and lots of material here for pulp scenarios!

My brother has a few dinos already, I'm sure we'll be getting more. I need to get pictures of the huge brachiosaur that he's built a howdah for – anyone want a howdah the size of a bus?

The Neanderthal/primitive man & saurian dino-men archetypes are great, as well. I am having very ERB-ish Lost City scenarios running through my head!

Operator No. 5:

If you want to put together a .45 Adventure fiction collection at some point, keep me in mind.

Just bought the book; looks fun!

Wish though it was just .45A though.
I do not play any of the other games and have no plan to do so.
