I have possibly ruined one of the Blue Moon tractor trailer trucks with an awful paint job. I've never stripped resin before. Is there any hope, or can somebody share a few tips on stripping paint off a piece of resin? I'm afraid paint remover will eat the model. Any input would be greatly appreciated. |

I'm not sure on paint remover; you could always try it on the bottom of the model. However, the stuff that cleans paint off plastic will work fine (I use brake fluid). If you skimped on preparation, and didn't wash the model before painting, that may help you. :) |

Someone I spoke to recommended using a herbal nail polish remover (not the acetone-based stuff). Haven't tried it, but he has, and he says it works a treat. |

Thanks all. Crossing my fingers that I don't have to buy another truck. |

Simple Green mixed 1:1 with water. Excellent Work Bench article! |

Heck, I use Simple Green straight from the bottle. I put the figure in one of those semi-disposable plastic containers and let it sit for as long as needed. Wyatt |
