Nice looking stuff!

IttyBitty05 May 2008 10:42 p.m. PST

Yes, very nice!

Did you scratch build the buildings?

Quebecnordiques06 May 2008 3:28 a.m. PST

Lovely, even idyllic.

Pijlie06 May 2008 3:29 a.m. PST

Everything except the well was scratch-built. The houses of foamboard, basewood and teddyfur roofs, the fortress and Hadrian's wall ruins of blue dense foam and base wood.

I went a bit overboard on the Arthurian scenery, but the book was so inspiring! Only the Roman road remains to be finished.

Great! Love the way it really blends together.

Dave Crowell06 May 2008 4:06 a.m. PST

Wow! This is fantastic.

I especially like this one: link

You scratchbuild very well indeed.

Pijlie06 May 2008 4:11 a.m. PST

That one took me years. As a matter of fact it's an ongoing project :0)

And making the armour was fun, too!

But I was actually referring to the Dark Age village, fort and ruins……. :o)

Looks great to me. Wish I was that good.

SgtPerry06 May 2008 5:03 a.m. PST

That's a very nice village!

You did a fantastic job! Congrats! People like you are an inspiration to lazy, fearful, procrastinators like me!! :)
Keep it up!

mattblackgod06 May 2008 7:11 a.m. PST

That looks great. Well done.

Dave Crowell06 May 2008 7:47 a.m. PST

The village must be razed to the ground, burnt to ashes, and scattered to the four winds.

Only then will stop thinking covetous thoughts about it.

BunkerMonkey06 May 2008 8:17 a.m. PST

Archaeologist Leslie Alcock would be proud! Your fort looks just like what he described!

I like the interiors. I'm too lazy to do more than scrath-build the outsides of the structures.

Karellian Knight06 May 2008 3:15 p.m. PST

Very nice indeed and very inspiring. Thank you.

Dammit, Flickr is blocked at work. I'd love to see this.
