Over the years, I have found that if I can remember a TMP topic title, it is faster to find it via Google than using the onboard search function. Google seems to pick up TMP subject lines within minutes. Of course, this doesn't apply to anything on the Lounge Boards. It also apparently applies to TMP+ boards. And, I'm guessing that with the reshuffling of the deck, all those controversial, inflammable and possibly unsavory topics are now locked away from casual perusal via search engine. Not a bad idea, all in all. Now, if we could just do something about five days' worth of TMP+ boards lingering versus two or three days' worth

What I tend to end up doing is regularly checking the topics (like Movies) I'm interested in, for threads I missed. It is too hard to scan a long general list and too easy to miss a gem among all the straw. |

"Google seems to pick up TMP subject lines within minutes." Minutes? My, that's slow. I usually get Google responses within seconds. |

Interesting. Google should be able to pick up the Plus boards, since there is a link on the homepage sidebar to the directory, even if you have the Plus boards turned off (which Google would get, since it's the default setting). I've also noticed that Google picks up the forum topics almost immediately, but is very choosy over which Hobby News stories it picks up. |

But isn;t it comforting to know that Google doesn't even hesitate for a few milliseconds in providing results for a search combining "TMP" and "Panty Explosion"? That should make you feel good! There are other, much less savory ones, but you can find those on your own. Allen |
