The new advertiser, Left Hand, carries Chinstrap 28mm figs…I have never heard of these. Anyone have them – what other ranges do they match with in height? Thanks.

These figures were originally produced by Freikorp in the UK. Technically I cannot refer to them as being Freikorp in my advertizing so I refrain from doing so here.

I am producing them in the US now as Chinstrap Miniatures.
(Chinstrap being a commonality to all military headgear though I told Mrs. Cybernetics it was for her beloved chinstrap penguins =P)

From what I have to compare with in size, they are slightly taller yet less bulky than Old Glory arabs.

If you look at cscw008, he actually measures 32mm foot to top of head and he is leaning over his rifle aiming.

I also believe they are compatible with the new Perry plastic ACW figures though I have only seen them on their sprews and not fully assembled.
YMMV.
Mark from Scale Creep is working on a composite photo of various ACW lines and will be publishing that soon.

My inventory is very limited till I can get back to my caster. Hopefully by the end of the week I will have replenished my stock and will be able to offer 10 packs in all of the items.
I have asked Left Hand Miniatures to limit orders to individual castings for the next few days.

thanks for your interrest.

Yep, these are the former Freikorp28 ACW range. We requested that they not be sold under the FK28 name so as to avoid confusion (see Old Glory) as we are continuing to manufacture and sell the Freikorp15 15mm ranges.

I hadn't seen them come up – you run a news item Ron? Good to see them in production, and with photos!

BTW Geoff, I need to thank Graydon Gorby of Lefthand Miniatures for the kick in the pants and getting my act together. Ive been sorting/cleaning/skuing masters from as far back as January.
Were it not for him, Chinstrap would still be in the planning stages.
Thanks Graydon.
