When i were a wee boy ( well, maybe about 12) and getting into "wargames" (WHFB 1st ed) i once saw a rafm reptiliad war turtle… and was hooked.

I've had about a dozen or so reptiliad figures for the last 28 years and finally decided to get on with making an army out of them.

I'm interested in what rules anyone else is using for them (house rules, or variants on certain popular rules)
And also if anyone has pictures. There are a number of missing pictures on the Rafm site… link

oh, and finally – does anyone know a vendor in the UK???

Sorry no pics but I do have a reptiliad army. We use Hordes of The Things and Gaslight with them. Usually use the Reptiliads in VSF games. Love the Gilla Worm on newts.

Yes, the old style pikemen are missing: first rank with breastplate and chain, second rank with chain, third rank without armour. IIRC.

I have an old catalog that shows the Reptiliads that aren't currently on the RAFM website. I can scan in the Reptiliad pages tomorrow and e-mail them to you, Brandlin, if you post your e-mail address. (Use (at) and (dot) so your addy can't be "mined".)

I also believe RAFM will cast up the "missing" Reptiliads for you, if you e-mail them and let them know the ones you want more of.

I have the War Turtle, nicely painted and very cheap--
found it at a minicon. Does anybody have a set of Lurpaball rules? I always wanted a set. Brian

RAFM still sells the Reptiliads sourcebook, which includes the rules for Lurpa ball, for $5: link

Posted these before, still, new set of people to look at them:

They're definitely worth a second or third look, GM.

alfritz,

And, they are missing the old halberdiers/spearmen, and old style bident throwers, and the Gilla worms…

And, I forgot, their used to be a line of "Primitive" Reptilliads… I didn't see those any more either

OH!

But, in an email with RAFM… They still have the molds for all of the "missing stuff" and can do them if needed (I plan on getting another four files of four of the old style Pike and a lot of the newer pike as lesser quality Pikemen in some form of Reptilliad successor army (Mine are currently Seleucids).

You could also do Later-Republican/Marian/Caesarean Romans, EIR Romans, and many other "Historical armies with them.
