I am painting a Medieval Swedish (1300-1500) army for Field of Glory. Is there any online resources that will help me with painting tips, colors, heraldry, shield design, etc?? I picked this army on somewhat of a lark, but I want to paint it up well, so if anyone has any information I would appreciate the help. Thanks y'all. |

I don't know of any online resources but you would certainly do well with the Osprey book The Swiss at War, I think it is. |

There's actually 2 Opsprey books covering Medieval Scandinavia. #396 is 1100-1300 & #399 is 1300-1500. There's also a Yahoo group that might help: ScandinavianWars. Not a lot of activity, but when I've asked questions, there's always been someone to help. & finally, there's balticbattles.net, where I stop for all things Scandinavian. |
