Gents, I have conflicting info on the uniform of the Bavarian infantry of the WAS and SYW period. Does anyone have any info on these uniforms? There seems to be info here under the 1756-63 tab; link However, uniform info (lovely as it is) gives different turnbacks, etc. link Any info to help clarify this would be greatly appreciated. Regards Happy Wanderer

Which particular regiment(s) are you interested in? There are a number of changes made in and between the WAS and SYW so it would help if you could specify which conflict. Cheers |

Hi de Ligne, I am modelling all the regiments of the Bavarian army. * Leib-Regiment * Kurprinz * Clemens * Minucci * Morawitzky * Preysing * Holnstein * Pechmann That's pretty much the entire army infantry wise. Any info would be appreciated. Regards HW |

Let me have your email address and I'll send you a chart I have made up from Pengel and Hurt's Bavarian supplement. This contradicts and updates information thay had previously published. |

Leibregiment- white White White Kurprinz- white yellow white Minucci- yellow white yellow (red camisol?) Morawitsky- straw white ? Preysing- red white straw Herz.Klemens red yellow white Pechmann straw yellow ? Holnstein red yellow straw First colour is Collars, cuffs and Lapels. Second colour is button and hat lace.
