I have posted many pictures of the Jacobite Rebellion of 1745 game that we played today on my Der Alte Fritz Journal blog. The Jacobites swept the Government forces from the field and captured many standards and muskets. In this "one win and the Stuart's are out" campaign, we go on to the next battle with more reinforcements flocking to the Prince's standard. However, the quality of the Government infantry will improve to Trained, so it will be a tougher fight.

The game lasted 4 turns and played to a conclusion in a quick 2 hours, so this is a nice scenario for a quick evening's game. Refer to the OB for both sides in the previous day's posting.

Wonderful stuff, sir! Beautiful figures and and what a reversal of fortune in Turn 4. I believe I had ancestors there fighting for the Stuart Cause so I'm filled with pride. On to London, heads on pikes, and all that stuff!

Fritz, you are dragging me away from the Leonardo and Lexington/Concord projects that TMP all voted for me to finish.
Prestonpans would be doable for me within two months, but then so would everything else.
