Hi Everyone: I've caught the Old School bug and I'm beginning to amass the old 25mm Ral Partha elves, orcs and goblins from the Fatnasy Collector Series sculpted by Tom Meire in 1979. A full listing can be found of the stuff of Legends: link They are small by today's standards, but I really like them and want to see them painted using modern painting techniques. Ral Partha Europe has a few of these figures listed in their online catalogue. Is there any chance that Iron Wind Metals still has the molds for these old beauties? Also, if anyone is looking to sell any orcs, goblins and exepcially elves, you can contact me at hydraminiatures@yahoo.com Thanks, Matt Beauchamp Hydra Miniatures |

As far as I know, Iron wind metals only has the Ral Partha historicals, with a few exceptions. They do have the elf chariot sculpted by Tom Meier, which I hope to pick up soon. I have been working on an elf and goblin/orc HOTT army using Mr Meier's wonderful sculpts as well. I've gotten almost all the figures I needed off Ebay, but I must admit to paying a premium for them. The elves are almost done, so I'll be posting some pictures before too long. You're right to covet them though, they are simply marvelous figures. Of course Mr. Meier's current sculpts (Thunderbolt Mountain) put even his Ral Partha sculpts to shame. David |

IIRC IWM has a few of the "classic" sculpts from RPs true 25mm era, but not all. They're additionally mixed in with all the other figures, so it takes some hunting
I also thought about collecting the "classics" as well, including picking up some of the Megamini Julie Guthrie's old Grenadier sculpts. The price they charge are cheaper than what I bought them for in the late '80s! Damon. |

Saber6, you too? Even though most of my current armies are 28mm, I'd still plunk down a fair bit of change to get a mixed army of those old Sea Elves and High Elves. Even just a massive block of Sea Elf pike would be cool. Sigh, indeed. |

You're in luck, Matt. I have 001, 002 & 008 in my "to sell" pile, and I suspect that I have a couple more that you may want – need any of the enchanters? PM on the way. One of you guys with the Sea Elf interest might know which dragon this is. Its a wingless dragon with the body rising out of a wave, its tail is cast as a separate piece coming out of another wave. There is a mermaid figure with RAFM on the underside. I thought it was another of the Dragon of the Month sets, but would it be a Water Dragon/Elemental? Wyatt |

You nailed it, Wyatt. Sounds like RAFM's Water Dragon Elemental: link |

Thanks Jpattern. That just helped identify one of the other Dragons in this bag. Yet one more thing to catalog for sale. Wyatt |

Matt, I was down in Cincinnati 2 1/2 weeks ago and a shop named Yotta Quest had a number of old school Tom Mier goblins and a few elves there for sale at $1.00. I picked up some myself. Ginfritter |
