I am starting to paint some Perry AWI jagers and I noticed that they had side-bobs (those little pompoms on the side corners of the tricorne). The question is – what colour? Any help with this admittedly obscure topic would be appreciated. Andrew

The color depends on what jagers you're talking about.I just finished those same Perry jagers as Brunswickers,in which case those side pom-poms are white and yellow.Hessian jagers I believe are green,as are Anspach-Beyreuth. Bob

Thanks Bob. I want to use mine as Hesse Kassel but also to double as Hesse Hanau for raiding out of Canada. A dark green will be inconspicuous. Andrew
