The article states release date in May 2008, I hope they are on schedule. Very nice looking figures indeed! They are large scale 1/72, larger than any other 1/72 on the market. StillI wonder if Hat vehicles mix well with them. link |

The article states that all components of the second set are compatible with the first set. You could get one of each set and costumize 136 figures, Awesome!! |

THe box art was on show today at the WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? history show but the chap staffing the Valiant Miniatures stand told me that they will not be available for another couple of months. |

DRATS! As long as a couple months doesn't strech into 6 or 8 months, what the hell I'll have to wait however long it takes. Thanks. Sounds like we have similar ideas in what we want for WWII. |

Just spent the afternoon enjoyably getting the US set made up – happy to wait a bit longer for the PGs as they are great figures, love the way you can convert them so that all the squads are individual :-) |

Bob Did the valiant minis representative mention if there were any plans after the panzer grenadiers? Stephen |

Stephen, I did not ask and he did not say. My personal preference would be for some Russians. Bob Cordery |

cheers Bob, likewise russians would give the range nice coverage of the main european theatre armies. I wouldn't mind british paratroopers too though :-) that way I could get rid of all my metal stuff and standardise! |

Standardize!?! Yikes, Have all my 20mm/1/72 be the same. An interesting concept! |

Stephen & Bob: My understanding (from various posts on the RFWW2 Yahoo Gp) is that they intend to produce UK, US and German Paratroops next. Furthermore, when I enquired with VM about their 'Germans in Normandy' set (aka Panzer Grenadiers) Julian was very forthcoming and informed me that they intend to produce a supplementary German set to augment their German forces. My initial enquiry regarded a horse and what they had described as a piece of equipment that was currently unavailable (1/72 scale) from other manufacturers (which I assumed and hoped to be Panje style wagon) that had been mentioned on their website when they initially announced the Germans in Normandy set. Julian replied that they had been unable to fit the horse and wagon into the 'Germans in Normandy' set as it would have been detrimental to the number of figures that would have been available within the set. So in summary I am hoping to see, sometime in the distant future, a supplementary set that will consist of a horse and Panje style wagon, maybe some bicycles and hopefully some of the supporting arms (i.e. Assault Pioneers & Artilleryman). Unfortunately there has been no discussion (to my knowledge)regarding the production of Soviet forces. |

Then some beautiful DAK and Brits for North Africa would be excellent. I would buy them in a flash. Russians would be great too! I want them all. |

Don't care in the slightest about this, not my scale, BUT, it is great to see people fired up about a range of figures, and speculating about the next sets before this set is even released! I've got a warm feeling, oh, and they are great figures! I hope they sell a million of them! John |
