Can anyone tell me the best book or online resources for uniforms of the Islamic Arab Empire Armies (7th-10th centuries roughly). Thanks! |

I don't think there was much of a uniform, but one source that is pretty useful is the Osprey book. Another nice one is the Byzantium: Beyond the Golden Gate book from WAB, it has a nice page in it with some good pictures of arab clothing from the period. |
