I know its a dull question but kind or annoying me. Today arrived my lovely perry french. Now normally I do 18mm but i just had to have some. Not sure what ill use them for yet but i figure 28mm best for small actions (not skirmish). Say a brigade or two
. Anyway i have bought some 1.5x2 inch bases as i hear this is pretty common for 4 figs, 2 ranks. I placed them on to see what i looked like and not too nice imo. Too spaced out I think. I added another figure so it was 2 ranks of 3, 6 per base and looked much better. However, cant really think on this one. 6 to a base does feel a little unflexible even though looks are my main concern.. |

Blucher, I base mine on a 45mm by 40mm base with six figures per base. At 1:20 that is a French company. Bill. |

I base mine the same as Bill, 36 figures to a battalion. I also have some battalions of 30 figures using the same base size but only put 5 figures on it, usually 3 in the front rank and two in the rear rank. Cheers, Simon |
