I've been working on 15mm 1806 Napoleonic Prussians, 25mm Napoleonic French and Poles, and 15mm Sarmations, so there is something for everyone. Go by and take a look.

Hello David,
Nice work. I am thinking of building a double base DBN 1806 Prussian army myself, so I am looking forward to seeing some photos of your line infantry, grenadiers and cavalrx too as inspiration.
I have bookmarked your blog, ist very enjoyable indeed.

best regards
Brummel.

Thanks Brummel,

I actually have most of the Grenadiers and muskets and some of the cavalry done. I got a bunch of free minifigs from extra crispy mark severin and they were the inspiration for this army. The 1806 Prussians are 15mm and done with the normal basing, it is only my 25mm napoleonics that are double based. I'm almost done with the 1806 Prussians. I just lack Dragoons, Kurassiers, and some command stands. After that I'll move on to the allied Saxons. I'll see if I can't get some pictures of the rest of the army some time soon.

I like your work; all those painted figures of yours look really good.

Thanks guys,

I've just edited some of the settings and made it a little more user friendly. I appreciate the compliments.

It's all looks good. So good it prompted me to send off for your rules. It strikes me as a realistic way to game Naps without going the whole hog with hundreds of figures. With a little bit of re-organisation I can almost field two 12 point armies already… (and so it begins…)

That's exactly what hooked me. The rules are a little difficult to interpret in some situations. But feel free to ask questions on the Fanaticus page thread about DBN. The authors are also pretty good about answering questions. If you've played DBA, they shouldn't be much of a problem. The author is also a regular on the wargames society list.
