I have some Russian Nap. AB figures that are in dire need of standards for the cavalry. I know Fighting 15's puts out a good range for AB. Was wondering if anyone has used Vaubanner Graphics flags before. Are they a good match for AB's? Are they well detailed? How are they attached, like stickers?

Thanks in advance.

Photos of figures with flags would be nice too.

I've purchased their 15mm nappy Swedish banners and I was pleasantly surprised by them.

I also have AB's nappy British flags and would say that Vaubanner flags are actually a tad better.

Production values and methods are the same (ie printed on just your basic paper, not on any sticy material. White glue works well when attaching these.)

I can't respond with directly relevant info, but I've been very pleased with Vaubanner Graphics flags for my 28mm Seven Years War Russians and Prussians. I've no idea how they compare to AB flags though. One observation I would make is that Vaubanner's product seem to be a more realistic scale size than those produced by some other outfits. I like this, but I know many wargamers like their flags to be somewhat oversized.

They are very well detailed, but aren't stickers – you cut them out of the sheet and use pva glue. They seem a little more colourful than GMB flags, which is probably the main rival. GMB's have rather more muted tones, which again, some might prefer, but the brighter colours suit my rather old-fashioned painting style.

Also, it's always a pleasure dealing with Brian, who operates a polite and efficient email/paypal service. Price seems fair, even including postage to (in my case) the UK.

Sorry I can't oblige with photographs.

Cheers

Don't know AB flags, but Vaubanner are very nice. My buddy's Russians have their flags.

I've used them several times and found both the service and the flags excellent.

Excellent service, fast and the flags were well-packaged so they arrived undamaged. Quality of flags is superb and Brian will "shrink/adjust" them to the size you require.
