I am getting into the prospect of doing some Black Hawk Down style games in 28mm, and I have a bunch of Adobe Middle Eastern style buildings, but where can I get something more appropriate for the 2 and 3 story apartment-style buildings like in the movie? Seems like they'd be useful for some other theaters as well

Scratch building is the best way, check out Matakishis Teashouse for superb ideas link |

If you find a good source please post it as i am looking for the same thing. I realize I will end up building some using Matakishi's very useful instructions but terrain is something I would rather buy than build. I am also looking for a triumphal arch(the Italians seem to have left one behind)for my Mogadishu if anyone has seen one in 28mm/O-scale. Best of luck to you, Pat |

Stuff is awesome but way too much work for me. Does Matakishi do commission work? Found some shanties and such on JR Miniatures website link And PSG has some apartment buildings that are very generic but might work link Maybe some Litko stuff too? link Anything else? |

Actually, the type of buildings for Mogadishu is pretty easy. I used the same method as Matakishi (although with foamcore instead of cork) and you can easyly do a few buildings in one afternoon
not really worth spending hard cash on it (even if you are cursed with no skills at all)! Cheers, Burkhard |

Would the PSG buildings take textured spray paints? That would sure make everything incredibly simple? |
