The "New and Improved" 2nd Ed of TMS by Senor Hefter (and Patrick Wilson) arrived on my doorstep yesterday and all I can say is…Wow!

While the book seemed a bit thin at first, the larger page format (8.5 x 11) more than made up for it, along with the "bonus tracks from Japan" (ie, added extras from TCoMH), etc) that Patrick was able to add, giving the book even greater value than the long saught after 1st Edition.

The new layout/format was great and the "enhanced" (and extra) color plates were quite simply amazing.

All I can say is that Patrick put a lot of effort into getting this book to print and I hope he is well rewarded for his efforts…this book should be a must have on any Mexican-American (& TWoI) War enthusiasts bookshelf.
