Wow, what took you so long to realize that Tolkien stole most if not all of his best names from France, Germany, Austria, and other parts of the world and used them unapologetically in his books. The Duke de Rohan had a very good regiment though – even if the flag was a bit monochromatic if you asked me. In the same vein, would the Mordor forces have Prussian or British flags? I am thinking they would be British to go along with the Flintloque version of the world. |

Yeah, Tolkien was such a poor author. Any good fantasy or sci-fi name has to have lots of apostrophes to show how "different" it is. LotR would have been far better with G'an'd'alf and F'rod'o B'a'ggi'ns. |
