Hi all

I collecting some 6mm armies for the Angolan war (75-90) and was wondering
what colours were used for the vehicles? I know a lot of the vehicles came
from Cuba/Russia and were Russian green but did they repaint any?

All images that I have seen of the captured Soviet equipment from SW African campaigns appear to be in the solid Soviet green (the pics are black & white).

Soviet green or a green olive works well.

Kmahony111,

Out of interest what manufacturers are you using for your 6mm Infantry?

I'm not sure yet. I'm using Navwar for the SADF but I might try out the Scotia figures. I will probably use a mix of Soviet and insurgent figures for the Cubas and Angolans. I'm still not sure whether or not to go with GHQ or irregular or Navwar. My mate has some Irrguelar figures O I needt to have a look to see if ther are ok.

The last sentence is meant to read the following!

My mate has some Irregular figures so I need to have a look to see if they are ok.
