Before they went under, did Asgard ever actually release the Renaissance Poles and Turks listed in some of their UK adverts? |

Viking Forge who still produce the Asgard 15's in the US doesn't list them, but you might drop them a note. |

Alternatively you can try the brand new Legio Heroica ranges for the Battle of Vienna 1683. Now available in the UK at tinyurl.com/55eted with individual pictures (for the Poles) and lots of gallery shots (for the Ottomans mainly) at tinyurl.com/35qmxq |

As far as i remember there were no Turks or Poles in the "Asgard" range, TTG/M who had the minis when i worked on them, had to have some Turks commissioned to help complete the range. Those Turks were very nice (if a little small) and were produced under the TTG/M and "Alliance miniatures" banner. Having worked on the Asgard range (25 years ago *Shock*) and the new Legio Heroica range, i've got to say that the new minis are far and away, much better than the old ones. |

Thanks for the advice to drop Viking Forge a line, but I am the owner of the Viking Forge. We do indeed produce most of the Asgard Renaissance figures, but have never been able to learn the fate of the Polish and Turkish figures. A British wargame magazine from about 1983 listed them, but I have never met anyone who actually had any in their possession. They were not on the master molds owned by Tabletop, nor are they on any of our Asgard molds. For your information, we purchased the Asgard Ancients range from Essex in 1988 and acquired the rights to produce the Renaissance figures with Tabletop shortly afterward. |
