A very stock type question, sorry to bother, but has anyone mixed Magister Militum 10mm Huns with the Old Glory 10mm Huns? I have a few OG Huns and I'm looking to add some variation. If the Magister ones are nicer I'll make them the bulk of the force. I realize 10mm forgives alot but I thought I'd check first for the heck of it. I have some Magister 15's and I'm very pleased with their stuff in that scale. |

I can only address Gauls but assuming they run generally the same, Magister Millitum and Pendraken mix together perfectly however both are a bit too small to fit well with OG. Magister Millitum is a hair larger than Pendraken in some cases and might, for the infantry, mix well. For both MM and Pendraken, the cavalry is noticeably smaller than OG's. I have found that AIM/GFI fits OK with OG and use them to add to stands where two of the strips don't fill the base as much as I'd prefer. |

You are going to have a bit of a horse problem. We used a pony for all of the ancients ranges (it was the hores of the ancient world) and it will look a little small compared with some other horses from other manufacturers. I will give the Huns to the painter next so we can get pictures up for you to see. In the meantime, send us your address and we will send a sample Hun. info@magistermilitum.com Cheers, Richard. |

Thanks for the info, McKinstry. And thanks for the sample offer, Richard. While I have you, can I ask if the Command pack has an actual standard? I might just order that and one pack of light cav and see how it goes. The Gibbon Exchequer can handle a small order. This weak dollar is killing me though. I'm almost afraid I'll fall in love with the Magister stuff and have to sell blood to get a whole army. |

For my 10mm Huns I used a pack each from Magister Militum's Steppe Peoples range plus a pack of their actual Huns. Nice variety of figures. |
