I've tried to find some supply wagons/ carts for my 10mm Late Romans but so far I've drawn a blank. They don't have to be Late Roman, any generic ancients carts would do nicely as they can then be used for other armies as well.

I'm sure they must be out there and I'm just missing them.

Magister Militum (www.magistermilitum.com) have 10mm wagons/carts in the Zulu War British range that might do. They're Ox-drawn, but you can buy horses from the separate 10mm "Animals" range, if you like, and do a little conversion job. Hope that's of some help! :)

If you order on line or by phone we can swap the oxen for horses in the pack. The wagon is a little modern however. I will see if we can get something more basic done from the very limited straight line design time we have.

Anyone know a very good straight line designer wanting work?

Cheers,

Richard

Thanks guys. But it is just a little too modern for my liking. The oxen don't bother me as they were used in ancient times as well, but I was looking for something that wouldn't require quite as much conversion work. I might come back to it if I can't find anything else.

MM, a generic solid wheeled cart would be very useful. Something which is generic enough to be used in any ancient army would be the ideal and it would probably work for medieval armies as well.

You could try Pendrakens 18th Century range; they have a couple of wagons which might suit.

Cheers clibinarium, I'll order one of the Pendraken packs and see what they are like. But my guess is that being 18th century they won't quite work either.

MM if you do get one sculpted could I suggest getting it done with spoke and solid wheels. It would give you two very different wagons. Offering them with horses or oxen would also increase the options for peoples supply trains/ camps.

Or go the Dixon route.

Make on basic wagon. Do solid and spoked wheels. Add different cargos (barrels, hay, tarp covered load etc) plus maybe side rails. Mix and match and from one set of sculpts you get a lot of different possible wagons!
